| Ratings: 2/10 for Patong Beach Hotel, Phuket |
Reservation Review: |

The Patong Beach Hotel website is very informative and also provides some impressive photos of the rooms and facilities available. Regretfully, my stay was less than comfortable and a let down overall. The room was quite small and dirty to say the least. The room I chose had a balcony jacuzzi facing the beach front - the website stated this was private, this was definitely not the case. The level which had the 6 rooms in total with balcony jacuzzi were all in a line - there was no privacy; each room could walk from their balcony to each of the other 5 rooms balcony's with the jacuzzi in full view. Think about trying to have a moment with a partner on your own balcony, with the guests adjoining looking on... this was a big let down, especially as the space for the balcony and jacuzzi matched that of the total room floor space. The rooms on the floor above could clearly look down into the jacuzzi as well. Not good enough for nearly $200 AUS a night. After the first night, my partner both found we had been bitten by bed bugs - both of us are still mending from these. The staff were polite and assisting when required. The location was convenient for the main entertainment area of Patong Beach, however the music playing at the Banana Disco was unrelenting even with the Hotel over 100metres from the beachfront. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Patong Beach.

I had a wonderful time in twin palms and hope to come back again soon. The staff was very friendly. The rooms immaculate and so relaxing. I just wished - (that's my suggestion) that the menu would offer a bit more of the typical Thai food or a Thai-western fusion - but I was also happy to find western food such as feta.

| Ratings: 8/10 for Naithonburi Beach Resort Phuket, Phuket |
Reservation Review: |

We had a fabulous stay with our 17 month old baby. There is construction on both sides of the hotel - new resorts so Nai Thon won't be as quiet as it is now in a year! - but we were not disturbed by any noise or smell. The staff was extremely pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. The room was more spacious than most other hotels and resorts that we've been to, and very clean. It was nice to have both shower and a bath. Just a note: shower with your back to the wall to prevent water from spilling all over the floor as there is a 2cm gap between the floor and the shower screen. The pool is fantastic; we were in it every day. On the beach just across a small quiet road, the hotel provides towels, deckchair, iced water. About 150m down from the resort, The Coconut Tree restaurant has the best Thai food in Nai Thon. We'd definitely go back to Naithonburi again.

Reservation Review: |

We enjoyed our stay at Duangjitt Hotel very much. We particularly appreciated the open areas, wide lawns, lovely swimming pools and overall setting. Quality of food served at the restaurant was also very good and buffets superb. Some suggestions-we stayed at Bungalow room, where bathrooms were tacky and in poor shape. Basin was leaking and quality of water was bad as it was yellow. Fittings in bathroom should be improved.

Me and my hubby stayed at Nathonburi for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised how everything went smooth and nice. Staff was very, very friendly and helpful: hotel is nice and clean with all rooms looking at lovely swimming pool area;it's quiet and just perfect for a holiday. The beach and water is very very clean, not crowdy and hotel staff would bring to the beach fruit and water -for free! The outside breakfast setting is amazing, as tables are set on a grass overlooking swimming pool. Only downside is that there is nothing to do in the evening as there is nothing around (besides some local not so good restaurants), but we rent the motorbike(just outside the hotel for $9/day) and we were all over the island. After the beach in front of Banyan Tree, the beach in front Naithonburi was by fast the best for us in all island(of course, if you like crowd, noise, sports and many tatood tourists around, then this place is not for you). Will be back for sure.

As an architect, I thought the boutique hotel has a lot of character especially to its interior. It's indeed a designer's hotel. It has a certain lovely feel and atmosphere, however, some basic necessities of the hotel are not to be found. Mirror and a certain hanging space for clothes were not sighted. Maybe a designer's side table. A phone will be handy alto not really a necessity. Toiletries were not complete. The toilet window needed an alternative curtain. Biggest disappointment, mosquitoes which are aplenty in its corridor were not really addressed. Would love to return, only when facilities are at least to its adequacy which are supposed to commensurate with the rates which is not cheap either.

Satisfied with the bungalow and most other hotel facilities. Very unsatisfied with not being recieved at the airport as payed for. And not satisfied with the way I should "beg" for the money spend on a cab to Print Kamala. When I rate the hotel it get 9/10 rating for the facilities, 3/10 for the price and 1/10 for the bad recieving. That will in all be 13/30 = 4/10

Absolut sea pearl can be a nice place to stay, but in the periode we stay there, they change and paint and rehab the hotel. So I think we was unlucky with our stay.Exsempel : two days without curtain. One week we had a new tv standing in the paperbox in our room. The lift was out of order in one week.No water the last day when it was wery necesarry to take a shower before return.
No escuse from the hotel,no message. So we was not so happy

The hotel was absolutely amazing, the pool, the rooms, the breakfast, everything.
One thing that really left a sour taste in my mouth was the NOT SO COMPLIMENTRY WATER.
In each room there are glass bottles of water with tags that say "With Compliments". Upon checking out we were charged for the BOTTLES. The people at the desk said that the water inside the bottles were free but we must pay for the glass bottles they were in. This information is very misleading and not honest at all. Especially when I could purchase my own water at the Watson's outside for half the price.
If something is labelled "With Compliments" then I do not expect to be charged for it upon check out. This little delay almost made me miss my flight and thus was the only unpleasant experience at Ban Thai.
Ban Thai, would have been a 10/10 for me but the dishonesty was very bitter.
