Hotel rooms were OK. The airconditioning failed sometimes and at times we had no hot water. We were in the off-season (July) and management seemed to use that time for maintenance and reconstructions. The dinner restaurant was under construction and not available. Neither was there a bar to meet people. When we suggested that the breakfast and lunch restaurant should be used for diner as well, the management followed the suggestion. The food was reasonable but nothing special. Since there are so many other good restaurants within walking distance, we never went again. Breakfast was only avergae and there were lots of wasps. We would look for another place next time.

July appeared to be the off-season, in which the hotel management decided to rebuild the restaurant. That meant that we could have breakfast and lunch, but no dinner, because the evening restaurant had been closed. When we suggested to use use the lunch restaurant for dinner as well, the idea was adopted the same day, but no guests came, obviously. We felt rather guilty, so we booked a table. The food was reasonable but nothing special, and us being the only guests, the evening was one not to remember. So the hotel was OK, nothing fancy, the rooms were OK, the people were nice. Krabi was nice. Made for tourists who don't want the hedonistic adventures you find in places like Puhket.

We felt the hotel was a bit tired and in need of some overhaul. It was also a little further from the beach than we thought. The food was excellent as were all the staff. Without them we think the hotel would have been a bit of a dissapointment. On saying all of that for the price we paid we thought it was good value for money. We loved Krabi. Again you staff are amazing!!

This hotel should NOT have been open during the time of our stay. We had a barely adequate bungalow that was one of two that were fenced off from the construction taking place. The pool was unuseable, the food was horrible-except for the fruit served at breakfast), the road was sometime inpassable. We heard construction noises including rebar being sawed into pieces while we were trying to each our fruit plates each morning. The staff seemed to know they should not be having guests at this time, or maybe they were just unfriendly and unknowlegable.
This was our only bad experience during our three weeks in Thailand. I wrote the "resort" after our return yet did not hear back from them. This is the worst place I have ever stayed.

A problem with the drainage system is what I think the hotel knows well. The bath tub could not be used or else the drained water will come out from every other draining point, lead to dirty bathroom. Have to wait until it dried out. This is because of too small draining pipeline I think. I try to tell them to fix if the drain point is plugged or not but they refuse. At the day of check out I think I should tell them before leaving so this will not happen to others, and they tell me they know this, it's because of the construction. I could not believe this.

The airport transfer was on time and the trip was pleasant. The accommodation is good, very comfortable especially after a hot day out. The room and toilet is big. My request for the change in the bed arrangement was met immediately on the next day. The hotel staff are friendly, although some of them do not really have good grasp of English. The buffet breakfast is quite good except for the houseflies. We had dinner on one occasion, but I find that the serving of food is quite small. Overall, my companion and i are very pleased with the services and accommodation offered. We had a pleasant stay there. Thank you.

The hotel is located near shopping area where small shops selling clothings, souvenirs, dive & snorkeling equipment. The hotel services is quite good and the facilities are very new and good condition. Also, the staff are friendly. Breakfast is simple but taste nice.

The lobby area was abit stuffy even though it's open concept. Add some fans should do the trick. It'll chase the mosquitoes away too.Our room was a Bungalow. It was spacious for my husband & myself. However, they could have provided us with 1 queen size bed ( It was requested upon booking) We had to be contented with 2 singles. The shower was alright except the hot water comes on for only 5mins and than you are left with cold shower throughout. Housekeeping kept our room clean.Nice big fridge and complimentary bottled water in room.Mosquitoes were present, luckily we were armed with repellent. We especially like the location of Tipa, I noticed the hotel staffs were friendlier to Caucasians during breakfast. Anyway, we didn't need to be fussed around with either. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Krabi. It's the way we like it, laid back and peaceful.

The view from the hotel and its pool is gorgeous! the whole setting is lovely. the rooms are comfortable enough, but some of the members of staff were not very friendly. the breakfast was alright, but could have been tastier.

Lovely views and rooms were nice. Great balcony. Pool was out of action. Non-existent room service - no room clean, replacement of toilet paper, emptying of bins etc. Breakfast was boring and tasteless. Pick up by taxi from airport was fantastic, but long tail boat ride was a nightmare (detained by water police etc..) and then tide was out a long way and had to walk over rocks etc which we were not prepared for (please advise prospective guests to wear wet shoes)

Beautiful location. The bungalow itself however was in need of decoration, particularly the bathroom. The bath was stained and rust colored water ran from the tap. There were stains on the wall next to the toilet. There was no kettle in the room to make tea and coffee which one would expect in any hotel accommodation particularly one in that price range. I would have expected a much more luxurious bungalow for that price. The service was generally good and the staff pleasant and helpful. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant at breakfast.

Breakfast was boring, the same food every day, and the choice was limited. we had problems with the hot water every day, so sometimes, we had not time to wait for the water, so we shower in cold. beach is very close, but there is a lot of rocks there, so not good for swimming. staff was ok friendly and smiling. 10 min. walking from Ao Nang. rooms are very nice and clean

The hotel was great. The pool was good. The beachfront was very nice. We really like the resort. However, the restaurant was lacking. We were not very impressed with the quality of the food. We ate at several other resorts along the bay, and most were better. Mostly the rooms were nice and the resort was nice.

Reservation process was easy, but there were some complications when confirming the reservation. The resort handled it very well and upgraded us to nicer rooms because of the mistake.

Beautiful resort which is picture perfect from where ever you are from sunrise to sunset. Ideal for couple who wants to idle by the pool or taking walks by the beach. With a private jetty & beach allowing plane landing, the resort caters for those who prefer to travel in style.
The service staffs are warm and helpful. The room decoration are simple but cozy. The seaview from the room is breath-taking.
Transport can be a hassle traveling from Krabi to Koh Lanta island. The only complaint is that the WiFi internet service is only available at the lobby & restrarant area and often not accessable.

It was my 10 th stay in Thailand. Most I stay in Samui and Phanghan.
What I would build out in the future in your hotel are:
More thai style, I mean not horses and other international symbols, rather Buddhas, etc.
The employers should learn language: English is a must nowodays!

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! When we arrived they told us that we did not get the bungalow we had booked (4th or 5th row), but we had to stay in a room behind the 5th row (next to the laundry room). The room was disgusting. Cockroaches in the bathroom and the whole room smelled like urine. They had put airfreshener everywhere and that made the smell even worse. The next day we got a bungalow, however we did not get any compensation for staying in that horrible room. We talked to the manager and he did not want to give us money back since we booked so cheap through a travel agent. I contacted the travel agent, but when they contacted Lanta Palace they said that we did not complain about anything. So watch out for the horrible manager!!!! The staff at the restaurant (esp. at breakfast) is not service minded at all. They should smile! Also, the pool is way smaller than in the pictures

The hotel was absolutely amazing! It was so serene and just beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and the venues on the beach were just wonderful. I would strongly urge all chilled travellers to visit Tonsai beach!! I will HOPEFULLY be back again some day!!!
