Ratings: 5/10 for Muang Samui Spa Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Muang Samui Spa ResortI don't usually write comments on hotels. But everything is so perfect with this one that I feel unfair not to mention a word on how happy I was with it. This is so far one of the best accommodation we had. Elegant decoration, friendly staff and impeccable service. Ideal location with everything in hand, lots of restaurants and shops just around the corner. Yet once inside the resort, you can enjoy the calm and green atmosphere. away from all the noise. We did our right choice, and enjoyed every bit of it. We were even lucky enough to be upgraded to the Royal Suite. Definitely considering returning to this hotel if going again to Koh Samui, despite being a little more expensive than some others.

Ratings: 7/10 for Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Pavilion Samui Boutique ResortFantastic rooms but the atmosphere was not as nice as our previous stay two years ago. We found that the European (Italian especially) seemed to be rude and demanding of the staff without giving any consideration to guests of other nationalities in the resort. Your staff are lovely but completely overlooked us as the European guests were very demanding and this did result in us feeling ignored. I think the resort has also now become too large for such a small pool which needs expanding. Despite your lovely staff and rooms we would probably choose a different resort next time

Ratings: 9/10 for Samui Park Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Samui Park ResortVery nice hotel with a huge swimming pool. Clean, with friendly people. Good restaurant but prefer thai food to western food. Big rooms very comfortable with a nice balcony. Not far away from lamai beach center (15 minutes walking).

Ratings: 9/10 for Napasai Samui Island, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Napasai Samui IslandGreat resort. Beachfront villas are definitely the best. Staff extremely friendly. Very good food and drinks. One of the best pools around. Great to have private beach, though doesn' tlook great with low tide and coral / rocks everywhere. Great atmosphere which keeps away the feeling of overcrowdness and excess development, which is seen through out the island.

Ratings: 8/10 for Rocky Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Rocky ResortVery nice hotel, with good service. staff very friendly, in particular with children. Rooms are well furnished and tastefully. Technically some improvements necessary; it was always necassary to push staff to fix broken items (AC, showers, TV...)

Ratings: 8/10 for Aloha Resort & Spa, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Aloha Resort & SpaDear Ms/Sir, I must say that I am really impressed with the way you work. First was the quick and effective reservation and now this. We greatly enjoyed staying at Aloha Resort and although it was a very unusual way of choosing without any recommendation, it proved to be a very good choice. The resort is beautiful and located on a very fine beach. We especially liked the welcome when we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful. Still as you ask I will make some suggestions : Having a hair dryer in every room is quite standard at this level of resort and it was strange not to have one. A safe in the room is also a welcome addition. One more suggestion comes from our very unpleasant experience with Bangkok Airways as we had to wait at the airport for 5 hours for a delayed flight to Bangkok (there was also a flight delayed for 8 hours on the same day ). Since flight reconfirmation is not done anymore by most airlines it could be a nice and helpful service to your guests if the hotel could do this for them. Best regards,

Ratings: 7/10 for Samui Jasmine Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Samui Jasmine ResortThis is a lovely small resort with extremely friendly staff. Location is good, weather was good, beach is good, facilities are good, excellent tea and coffee at breakfast. This was my third time to Lamai so I knew what to expect. The resort was pretty much full, there was the usual dramas with getting a sun lounger and I was little surprised by the number of childen at the resort. I normally choose small boutique resorts so as not to encounter the large family holiday. A couple of small issues, if you have a cockroach phoebia then perhaps try somewhere else as I killed a number of them (5) in my garden villa bathroom during my 8 night stay. The Resort Manager is also a waste of space as he was not able to arrange a simple airport transfer keeping us waiting for about 40 minutes after we were meant to leave. He also struggled to sort out my room account and I am still waiting for a copy of the final account.

Ratings: 7/10 for Nora Beach Resort & Spa, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Nora Beach Resort & SpaThe hotel is very nice, we stayed there only two night and it was not enuogh, the room are very nice and the service is good, breakfast was good and we had dinner at the hotel and it was good as well, the hotel is a bit remote from Chaweng center which requiers to take a taxi to the center. When we left the hotel we were asked to pay 1300 baht for 13 tall free calls we made, the cost of 100 baht for tall free call that are made from the room look to us very high. When we asked why? the reception manager yeled at us and was very rude, he said that this is the hotel policy, he did not show any flexibility or a will to try and understand our position. We left the hotel with bad taste in our mouth.

Ratings: 4/10 for Samui Amanda Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Samui Amanda ResortIt was very enjoyable, we relaxed; would suggest that the rooms didn't actually look like the images on the internet. Great location! The beaches needed cleaning - wouldn't swim in the water because of all the rubbish. The restaurant was okay, meals need more flavour.

Ratings: 6/10 for Samui Jasmine Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Samui Jasmine ResortAn enjoyable stay apart from the fact that the transfer never arrived from airport to hotel on the 1st. The hotel man blamed travel agency - but I had confirmed, by email, the transfer directly with the hotel - so I lay the blame with them. Left a question mark over whether I will return to the Jasmine as the man - Nopadol - was very unfriendly and unwilling to assist. With so many other choices on the island, I would have thought "Customer Service" would have been a priority - clearly with Nopadol it is not. That said, the accom and meals, etc were very good.

Ratings: 8/10 for World Resort, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

World ResortWhilst we enjoyed our stay at your resort you need to clarify the room charges for the various cabins on the internet site. We thought we had booked the front cabin facing the ocean when in fact this was not the case. Perhaps a plan showing room numbers, number of people to be accommodated and price of each cabin would help clear up any future confusion. Overall we found the hotel to be conveniently located, friendly staff and good meals.

Ratings: 8/10 for Hotel The White House, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Hotel The White HouseThe hotel was excellent value for money. It isn't a fussy - pampering hotel - but ideal for the better location of Choengmon Beach - after all - this is Thailand not Mauritius!. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The gardens were beautiful - the food and drinks were great value for money. The only thing I would like to see changed is the selection of music that was repetively played every day!!!!!!! We had previosuly stayed at the Imperial Boathouse along the beach - but if we returned - we would definately stay here again.

Ratings: 9/10 for Coral Cove Chalet, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Coral Cove ChaletThe hotel accommodation was very good and clean. The service from the hotel staff was excellent although there was a slight laguage barrier. You were able to completely relax and do things at your own pace.At some other hotel in Bangkok we were constantly harassed for tours and excurtions. This was not the case at Coral Cove.We did go on one tour which was swiftly and convieniently arranged for us.Because there was no harrasment we are happy to stay at Coral Cove again.

Ratings: 8/10 for Samui Peninsula Resort & Spa, Koh Samui Reservation Review:

Samui Peninsula Resort & SpaCouldn't fault the service, very attentive, professional and welcoming. The resort itself was very well designed and even though some building work was still in process we were hardly aware of it. The hotel beach is a bit of a joke but not really a problem as a proper beach is only a minutes walk away and very idyllic. The swimming pool could do with a few extra beds as there's plenty of room for them and the ones supplied are far too few for the number of guests. A more frequent shuttle bus service into Chaweng would be a good idea as well, the 'service' is a bit of a joke as it is. The only real complaint we had was with the music at the pool. Every morning it would start off with very pleasant gentle thai music. Then, at around 11 would change to loud frenetic beat style rubbish that sounded like it was straight out of a go-go bar. Even asking repeatedly to at least turn it down the volume would creep back up again every time. It was impossible to relax with it going on.
