Overall this is an awesome place for travelers! The communal lounge and restaurant, that is right on the water, is such a good palace to meet new people or hang out with old ones! The restaurant serves basic food but some of the best basics that you come to miss while in Asia such as toasted sandwiches and baked beans! The staff were always helpful and their daily notice board keeps you up to date as to the happenings in Koh Phanang! This is a great place to stay leading up to the full moon party as everyone is buzzing! The only downside is that there was no warning that they do not provide you with bed sheets or pillow cases and the rooms aren't cleaned every day! In our room the bed was covered with hair and the shower drain was clogged but these don't really matter when u sleep on the beach every night!

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Was amazing. Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms (especially the bathroom!); amazing pool overlooking the beach; and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. You needn't leave the resort! And the massages....! Best (budget-type) accommodation by far that we had in Thailand. But beware...there is a strong party scene here!! Lots of fun to be had!

Hi, the hotel is beautiful and we had a great time there, but there is few things what should be considered: - We had to pay for every bottle of drinking water. Normally in five star hotels if the tap water is not drinkable they supply a minimum of two bottle of water per day free. (The hotel is expensive enough to afford this). - In the confirmation of the booking it wasn't mentioned that they (Santhiya) can pick up us with their own boat, therefore we went there with ferry. When we arrived to the island we realized that we cannot jump in a taxi. We called the hotel and they picked us up, but it was a long way on the terrible roads. If we would know about it we would use the boat both ways (we used the boat on the way home, what was great). - The bungalows are beautiful but they are too close too each other therefore has no privacy, what manly problem with the open bathroom. - The food was OK, but can be improve. - We stayed in Samui in an other five star hotel, what has his own beach too. There they set up our sun bed with towels and served cold water all day, and drinks too if we ordered. Because in Santhiya there is enough staff I think would improve the service if they would do this too. Above all it is a beautiful place and I'm sure it will be very popular. Best regards, Judit

I was wisting Salad Beach first time with my husband a year before and we were utterly delighted with Salad Beach Resort deciding to come back next year with daughters family.Peaceful resort with delihgtful garden, poolarea, beach etc. Rather good snorckling, enjoyable fishing with kids, nice food, friendly service and atmosphere. Excellent.

Getting to Central Cottages was one heck of an adventure. Travelling in the back of a ute for half an hour up and down dirt jungle tracks was definately one of my more memorable Thailand journeys. The accomodation location was amazing - Thong Nai Pan is by far one of the most beautiful beaches I went to while in Thailand. The rooms were clean, tidy and had all modern facilities. I also had a great view of the beach. The resturant was right on the beach and served reasonably priced, good quality food. By night all the lights along the beach come on and the Central Cottages bar played great funky, chill out music - at a volume that was just right.I will definately go back to Central Cottages in the future.

Great location......bit hard to get to. Taxi cost 1500 THB NOT 100THB. Decent rooms. Great staff however owners were hideous. Sat and watched staff working very hard and yelling at them. Owners were quiet rude to guests as well. Would not stay there again soley because of how rude the owners are.

Comfortable for what you pay for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. food was good and evening entertainment was fun. A bit of a trek to get to and need to get better roads to resort. For back packing this is a good location. Beach is great when the weather is good, a real relaxing peaceful resort.

Beautiful Resort and location, perfect for couples looking for a quiet location on a private beach. If you are there to party it is probably better that you stay closer to Hadd RIn as there are no private taxis on the island so getting home can be a hard as you have to wait for the buses to fill up. Food in restaurant was good and staff were friendly.

The staff is very friendly. The bungalows are quite big and the a/c works great - looks like it was newly installed in all bungalows. That's where the problems start: it seems the booking systems do not have this information as you can book bungalows without a/c - but there aren't any as it seems. So there are actually no bungalows for less than 1000 Baht! The prices are unclear anyway as you can find several different prices on different webpages and even the staff can't give you a consistent price. The toilets all have a flushing problem at least during high tide - we have been there during full moon season. What we got really annoyed about is that the booking agencies seem to get a lot of commission (probably a lot more than 10%!).

The drive to the accommodation is quite scary with huge crevasses in the dirt roads, but it was only 200 baht each to get to the accommodation so that was good. The bungalows are quite small but the beds were good sizes and the fan they supplied was good to. The bathroom is quite big but you do need to fill a bucket with water and tip it down the toilet to flush... The beach is perfect and it wasn't to busy which was good considering it was full moon party time of the month. The staff were at times a bit rude but the management there were pretty good and I think there was a bit of a communication barrier up which explains the problem. The restaurant and the bar were both good and they had a good travel desk there as well. For the full moon party they had long tail boats coming every hour which also took you back later on. That service was really useful. There are a few other good restaurants and bars on the beach and they were cheap to. The ocean was clean and pleasent.The only real problem we had was that even though we stayed for 4 days and we were regularly on the beach the staff didn't want to exchange our towels for new ones and refused to give us clean ones. But the scenery was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun.

The hotel is great, also the service, restaurant, etc. The problem is that is 45 mins driving to the full moon party place. Is very very nice and quiet.

Hi, Myself and the 3 other girls that I was staying with at the Coral Bungalow REALLY, REALLY enjoyed our time there. We loved everything about the place! The facilities were great, rooms were new and clean and the pool is fantastic. A special mention to all the staff who do a fantastic job and really make you feel at home. The food was sensational as were all the parties. I do not have a single bad thing to say about the place. The prices on everything are also fantastic. Keep up the great work, if we head that way again we will definatley be staying at Coral!!!

Milky Bay topped the list of all the destinations we visited in Thailand. The location, staff, facilities and tranquility at Milky Bay could not have been any better. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a welcome cocktail and were looked after by the the friendly staff throughout our entire stay. We enjoyed listening to music and drinking cocktails by the pool/beach all day long, then partying the night away at Haad Rin Beach. We enjoyed every moment. Only 10 minutes by taxi to Haad Rin Beach was just far enough from all the crowds, but close enough to be able to join the crowd when ready. Definately a place to go back to next trip. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was beatiful. The beach is amazing. The staff were very kind. My only complaints are that the food and drink were way over priced for the quality. I ended up leaving the resort for better food that was a fourth the price. Many other things were way over priced as well.

Very nice resort, specially the family house was great! Restaurant offers to much international food- so we prefered the restaurant at the beach!
