The hotel was situated on the best place of the beach and has also the greatest pool. Spa treatments were great too. The staff were all so helpful and polite. The deluxe building rooms were fantastic! Our stay was EXCELLENT! I can recommend this hotel to anyone!!

This hotel is particularly magnificient. The personnel of the hotel is very very harmfull. Ils sont aux petits soins pour tout ce que vous leurs demandez. Pour rester objectif, une seule mauvaise note. Lors du check out, ma facture s est vue augmentee de 5500 BTH (110 eur) sans aucune raison. Je leur ai fait remarquer la chose. Ils se sont morfondus en excuses. L erreure est humaine...

The location and beach area is excellent. Also the service and and all hotel members are very friendly. The accommodation is OK but we expected a higher standard. Unfortunately the air condition is too noisy. The bath tub is uncomfortable and therefore useless. It would be handy to have pet water bottles.

I booked at the Ramayana based on online reviews like the one you're reading now, so I was aware that the resort is not directly on the shore. However, the lush exotic garden and convenient shuttle bus more than make up for this. The very friendly, helpful and charming staff appear to enjoy their jobs and this is very nice for guests to see. The menu selection was reasonable and reasonably priced, and the quality generally very good. We were picked up from Trat airport in a spacious, air-conditioned van at a reasonable price. We asked for some Thai dishes that were not on the menu and our requests were granted without any fuss. The only negative point I could make is regarding some unruly children at the pool - whose parents were right there and did not intervene. Perhaps signs could be set up to reserve the pool for swimming and relaxing, not horsing around and splashing, which are activities that are fine for the beach but not at a small hotel pool.

The Hotel was excellent and also the service. We had ordered a bungalow but there was some fungus? I guess in this room so I had breathing problems in the night and have to change to another room. Except from that, the restaurant had very good food with very good service. I will recommend this hotel to other.

Friendly personnel. Swimming pool is clean and pleasant. Our kid enjoyed it very much. Hotel is clean, and just 5 minutes walking to sandy beach. There are some good restaurants near the hotel.

Our familiy with three boys at the age of 11, 8 and 6 had a very fine vacation on this hotell. A lot of friendly people were working there, althoug nowone in Thailand can speak good english, but they really tried to help you. It was very good breakfast and food at the hotel. We had two deluxe connecting room and they were really nice and clean. Everything was so nice and elegant, but we were a little dissapointed to the view, we didn't have any view to the sea or swimmingpool because of two big trees. We thougth that this hotel was isoleted, but we did'nt feel that at all althoug we had our own beach. You could only get 10 minutes on the beach and then you could reach the main road and fine some shops. It was a really special, nice restaurant near the hotel, Porn Bungalow who served very good and cheap food. We had a nice snorkling trip one day with Bupha Tours to some small islands. We recommend it a lot. We were only 10 persons on the boat and get a lot of food and good service. The swimmingpool and beach were beautiful and the spa too. Maybe they could have a little shop at the hotel were we could by some souvenirs and some toys and maybe chocolate for the kids, not only icecream. We are a little bit dissapointed when our youngest boy forgot his gameboy under the pillow. We have tried to call the hotell and send mail, but nowone is answering us so we are still waiting for an answer. Althoug we would like to go back to the hotel.

The location of Alina Resort in the end of the beach was not good. We have to walk about 200 m to got a place there we could swim and take sun bath.If you don't leave your key in the reception they did not clean for you and we have wished that they hade informed us about it when we checked in.The beds was very hard.I will not stay there again!

Second time here. Fine territory, fine restaurant, good standard room. Excelent time spent there. Actually only one issue - bed-clothes were not fresh and we did not find it changed during all staying. One bath-room has a tap that you should press all time in order to wash your hands. Please check high and low tide of a sea. It's good when high is during a day. Overwise you should go far away from a beach to sweem.

The setting of the hotel was very beautiful, even during rainy season and the accommodation itself was very clean and well kept, we stayed in a standard room which we found to be very spacious and very well decorated. The staff are very helpful and friendly, who go out of there way to help you. The only downside is that the hotel is situated a distance from the mainroad and is expensive to get a hotel car to the any of the town areas, however you can rent motorbikes. Theres plenty to see in the area, including waterfalls and elephant trekking.

Excellent location in the middle of main road. Service was good and personal. Staff was always smiling and very helpful. They even organized a private tour around the island as original plans did not work out. I loved it all and will be going back sometime..

We stayed at the Panviman Koh Chang for 5 nights in June and it was a truly wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious, spotless and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is just amazing with a mini waterfall in the bathtub. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The surroundings are beautiful and we found that this part of Klong Prao beach is by far the nicest. We walked along to where the Tropicana and the Amari are and we were not too impressed with that end. The beach at the Panviman Resort is really lovely with no stones and just soft sand under your feet when you go for a swim in the sea. It is also a lovely location to watch the sunset. The restaurant was just ok but of course you dont have to eat here. There are are couple of nice places along the beach if you leave the hotel at the beach side and turn left. It is quite difficult to leave the hotel at the road end as there is a long dirt track up to the main road however if you want to go for a night out they will taxi you there and offer you a lift back or you can catch a local taxi back so its really no problem. Overall I would give the Panviman 10 out of 10 for quality, cleanliness and as far as luxury goes it is probably one of the best on Koh Chang.

Klong Prao Resort is very nice and clean hotel with extremely friendly staff. Good service and easy to book tours etc. Good resturant with very good food. The location of the hotel is also good, near to the beach, the waterfall klong plu and some elefantfarms. We can strongly recommend this resort, certainly a place you would like to come back to.
