Everything went very well thank you. Indra regent Hotel looks a bit rundown in the standard room level though.

A small family run hotel with a nice garden. Its tucked away from the main road so its nice and quiet.. Facilities are clean and ok for those who want to rest their feet after a long day of shopping. Its also very near the pratunam garment wholesale center - so good for business folks on a budget. The only problem is its not that known to cab drivers. Use 'pantip plaza' as a landmark in offering directions to driver.

Easy and fast.Only down side is that when booking, we were not given all the room option e.g. Villas. It would have been nice to have stayed in a villa had I seen the pictures and known more about them. Also the fact that there was more than one two-bedroom option.

Location of the hotel was okay. In the room, they did not provide kettle or hot water. It was quite hard to make drinks especially when there are small babies or kids staying together.
Reception did not even consider of letting us take a rest for an hour after check-out time at 12pm. Other hotels we stayed did not mind givin us an hour or two.

| Ratings: 7/10 for Silom Serene, a boutique hotel, Bangkok |

I've stayed here a few times on business and I've always found the rooms and facilities to be fantastic value for money. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. If you're looking for a cheaper, more chilled out alternative to some of the larger chain hotels in Bangkok whilst not wanting to completely slum it, then the Silom Serene is ideal. In terms of location, its only about a 5 minute walk to Sala Daeng Skytrain station. A word of warning though, if you're trying to get to the hotel by Taxi, you may need to have the address written in Thai as on each occasion I've stayed there, the taxi driver had no idea where it was!
