In first the standard room are not very well because there are much lizard in the room. We didn't know that the room were in the principal building. We have must change the room for one in the building. The breakfast is not enough various for a long stay. The porter are not pleasant. In have read the hotel is near the center but by taxi and not by walking as writing in your facilities. The staff of the reception and for the room are complaisant.

Beautiful location. The bungalow itself however was in need of decoration, particularly the bathroom. The bath was stained and rust colored water ran from the tap. There were stains on the wall next to the toilet. There was no kettle in the room to make tea and coffee which one would expect in any hotel accommodation particularly one in that price range. I would have expected a much more luxurious bungalow for that price. The service was generally good and the staff pleasant and helpful. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant at breakfast.

Breakfast was boring, the same food every day, and the choice was limited. we had problems with the hot water every day, so sometimes, we had not time to wait for the water, so we shower in cold. beach is very close, but there is a lot of rocks there, so not good for swimming. staff was ok friendly and smiling. 10 min. walking from Ao Nang. rooms are very nice and clean

The hotel is getting a bit tired but is still good value for the money.I have used this hotel before and the main reason is its location which is excellent. The air cons are getting old and noisy and the carpets and fittings are due for a change but all in all if you are not too fussy a person the hotel is not too bad.

Fine, except that my wife and I requested a room with a queen bed and ocean facing but unfortunately we got twin beds ocean facing for three nights and a queen bed rear of the hotel for the balance of our stay.I understand the hotel was very busy so these things happen.

We had a nice and extremely relaxed time at My Phangan Resort. Our bungalow had a lovely view out on the sea and the resort itself was very small (about 6 bungalows) and quiet. The sandy beach was very private and as you went further into the water it got more shallower and crystal clear and you could walk for about hundred meters in the shallow waters or sunbathe on one of the sandbanks in the sea - I loved it ... hardly any people were on the surrounding beach (even during full moon party time). The owners were very easygoing and the food they cooked up was excellent and very cheap.

during the time we stayed it was the full moon party. It was expected, but the noise in the resort was quite disrupting at times. I found most of the restaurant staff to be very friendly and nice and the food was of a good standard. They were in the process of putting in a new reception area( which was badly needed). Wasn't much to do in Coral bungalows and I felt that the accommodation was really overpriced . It was clean and comfortable though. Nothing special but when you only sleep in a place for a couple of hours it would do you rightly....Very backpacker orientated and no frills

Overall this is an awesome place for travelers! The communal lounge and restaurant, that is right on the water, is such a good palace to meet new people or hang out with old ones! The restaurant serves basic food but some of the best basics that you come to miss while in Asia such as toasted sandwiches and baked beans! The staff were always helpful and their daily notice board keeps you up to date as to the happenings in Koh Phanang! This is a great place to stay leading up to the full moon party as everyone is buzzing! The only downside is that there was no warning that they do not provide you with bed sheets or pillow cases and the rooms aren't cleaned every day! In our room the bed was covered with hair and the shower drain was clogged but these don't really matter when u sleep on the beach every night!

Me and my hubby stayed at Nathonburi for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised how everything went smooth and nice. Staff was very, very friendly and helpful: hotel is nice and clean with all rooms looking at lovely swimming pool area;it's quiet and just perfect for a holiday. The beach and water is very very clean, not crowdy and hotel staff would bring to the beach fruit and water -for free! The outside breakfast setting is amazing, as tables are set on a grass overlooking swimming pool. Only downside is that there is nothing to do in the evening as there is nothing around (besides some local not so good restaurants), but we rent the motorbike(just outside the hotel for $9/day) and we were all over the island. After the beach in front of Banyan Tree, the beach in front Naithonburi was by fast the best for us in all island(of course, if you like crowd, noise, sports and many tatood tourists around, then this place is not for you). Will be back for sure.

Staying there was just great. All the staff was very polite and did everything that was possible for us to make us feel comfortable. The facilities were also good. I can say that everything was fine except for your restaurant. Not the service, because it was really good, but the food. The first night that we arrived, we ate at the beach area, fish, but was served cold, and when I ordered a hamburger, it was raw inside. It's only the restaurant that needs maybe to be organized better. I would recommend you Hotel always to other people, We really enjoyed our stay with you, and if we return to Koh Samui, we will book with you again, because all of you were very kind and helpful. Hope to see you in the near future.

As an architect, I thought the boutique hotel has a lot of character especially to its interior. It's indeed a designer's hotel. It has a certain lovely feel and atmosphere, however, some basic necessities of the hotel are not to be found. Mirror and a certain hanging space for clothes were not sighted. Maybe a designer's side table. A phone will be handy alto not really a necessity. Toiletries were not complete. The toilet window needed an alternative curtain. Biggest disappointment, mosquitoes which are aplenty in its corridor were not really addressed. Would love to return, only when facilities are at least to its adequacy which are supposed to commensurate with the rates which is not cheap either.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Was amazing. Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms (especially the bathroom!); amazing pool overlooking the beach; and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. You needn't leave the resort! And the massages....! Best (budget-type) accommodation by far that we had in Thailand. But beware...there is a strong party scene here!! Lots of fun to be had!

Hi, the hotel is beautiful and we had a great time there, but there is few things what should be considered: - We had to pay for every bottle of drinking water. Normally in five star hotels if the tap water is not drinkable they supply a minimum of two bottle of water per day free. (The hotel is expensive enough to afford this). - In the confirmation of the booking it wasn't mentioned that they (Santhiya) can pick up us with their own boat, therefore we went there with ferry. When we arrived to the island we realized that we cannot jump in a taxi. We called the hotel and they picked us up, but it was a long way on the terrible roads. If we would know about it we would use the boat both ways (we used the boat on the way home, what was great). - The bungalows are beautiful but they are too close too each other therefore has no privacy, what manly problem with the open bathroom. - The food was OK, but can be improve. - We stayed in Samui in an other five star hotel, what has his own beach too. There they set up our sun bed with towels and served cold water all day, and drinks too if we ordered. Because in Santhiya there is enough staff I think would improve the service if they would do this too. Above all it is a beautiful place and I'm sure it will be very popular. Best regards, Judit

Staff was friendly. The room did not look as nice as the pictures on the website. We booked the executive suite. We looked at the corner suite but it did not have a shower. The suite furniture and decor was a little out-dated. The shower pressure was nice but the water temperature fluctuated between comfortable and steaming hot. The cleaning staff was fine. We would have enjoyed a larger menu. The buffet breakfast was great but towards the end of our stay in was not ready prior to 7 am when we left for the day. The view was great and it was quite quiet and relaxing throughout the stay. We rented a motorbike so traveling from the hotel to the beach was not a problem. Next time, we would move to a hotel closer to the beach as there are unlimited newer hotels opening up everywhere. Not a hotel if you wish to meet people and socialize. The only nightlife is at the strip along the beach.
