Hotel was very modern inside, and very clean and tidy. A nice touch to the rooms was the complimentary tea/coffee inside.. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem was that taxi drivers didn't appear to know where it was, despite having the address in Thai shown to them. The room we were in (222) was a bit noisy as it was close to the main road, but on the whole, ok.

Stayed in hotel room as opposed to a bungalow. The shower did not appear to work, the tv had HBO video channel as the only option, the fan looked rustier than an old tin bucket, the room was large and clean, there was no soap or toilet roll provided. Noises from sun up were owners and staff chatting away outside my room. Beach was covered in seaweed, sheltered by a reef so no waves, and wide enough to take 10 strides. About 4.5km from pier. As it was raining, I did not remain for the further paid nights and instead stayed at the Drop In Club, Had Rin which was lovely, had a spa for massage and all amenities and shops to wander around in the rain.

| Ratings: 5/10 for Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Pattaya |
Reservation Review: |
|
Grand Jomtien Palace was a nice Hotel over many years. But at these days it has to be renovated as soon as possible as facilities are in not in the best shape as the swimming pool as well. We liked that hotel but wouldn't be back there in fact that other new hotels has already opened. The room rate of course is reasonable and the hotel still offering the best conditions at Jomtien Beach within the 1000- 1500 Baht level. So people who are looking for a low budget hotel would be very happy there.

I had a wonderful time in twin palms and hope to come back again soon. The staff was very friendly. The rooms immaculate and so relaxing. I just wished - (that's my suggestion) that the menu would offer a bit more of the typical Thai food or a Thai-western fusion - but I was also happy to find western food such as feta.

We had a fabulous stay with our 17 month old baby. There is construction on both sides of the hotel - new resorts so Nai Thon won't be as quiet as it is now in a year! - but we were not disturbed by any noise or smell. The staff was extremely pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. The room was more spacious than most other hotels and resorts that we've been to, and very clean. It was nice to have both shower and a bath. Just a note: shower with your back to the wall to prevent water from spilling all over the floor as there is a 2cm gap between the floor and the shower screen. The pool is fantastic; we were in it every day. On the beach just across a small quiet road, the hotel provides towels, deckchair, iced water. About 150m down from the resort, The Coconut Tree restaurant has the best Thai food in Nai Thon. We'd definitely go back to Naithonburi again.

It was a wonderful place with good service, good food, nice beach and quiet environment. Some comment which you may like to investigate and if possible to improve : 1. Lots of tiny ants in the hotel room and restaurant 2. No escalator or lift for 5 story building Overall is consider quite a nice place which I would like to stay(new building) in my next visit to Koh Samui.

Great hotel with excellent service, good size rooms and well set out with the 2 bedroom family suite that we used. Prices are cheaper than the areas in the main business area but still a first class hotel. Situated conveniently between the Silom area and the Grand palace area. Will stay there again.

| Ratings: 8/10 for Ramayana Koh Chang Resort & Spa, Koh Chang |
Reservation Review: |
|
I booked at the Ramayana based on online reviews like the one you're reading now, so I was aware that the resort is not directly on the shore. However, the lush exotic garden and convenient shuttle bus more than make up for this. The very friendly, helpful and charming staff appear to enjoy their jobs and this is very nice for guests to see. The menu selection was reasonable and reasonably priced, and the quality generally very good. We were picked up from Trat airport in a spacious, air-conditioned van at a reasonable price. We asked for some Thai dishes that were not on the menu and our requests were granted without any fuss. The only negative point I could make is regarding some unruly children at the pool - whose parents were right there and did not intervene. Perhaps signs could be set up to reserve the pool for swimming and relaxing, not horsing around and splashing, which are activities that are fine for the beach but not at a small hotel pool.

excellent hotel, service is great, breakfast the best I have seen, tours desk very good, live music in the bar every night and a very good cafe and gym facilities. Downside...too far from the town centre but the tube is on the doorstep but nothing within walking distance. For a peaceful rest away from the hustle of inner city this is a must.

this is a frustrating place to stay. the only part of the complex that had people in it was the hotel block with dark hot poky rooms with no view. when commenting to the desk staff that no one appeared to be staying in the stunning spacious cottages we were told they were full. even when we bought another room to get a bit more comfort (Three in total ) the only available rooms were in" our ' block. during our 5 day stay we did not see a single person in the10 to 15 cottages .the desk staff were generally obstructive and lacking the helpfulness and care we got in Phuket .pools ok breakfast good.wouldn't go back.
